Hotel Accomodations
The 2010 ACHA Division 2 National Championships are being held during the height of Convention Season and as such the Greater Hartford Area is typically flooded with incoming business men and women and hotel rooms are at a premium. In peak season there is not only a limited availability of hotel rooms, but the room rates may be as high as $300.00 per night at standard hotels. This creates a situation where those teams not being able to book rooms until the last minute may have difficulty finding hotels or may be forced to pay premium prices. To help guarantee the lowest hotel prices possible, the 2010 ACHA Nationals planning committee has established a list of host hotels with approved tournament rates in order to assist teams and fans with finding lodging for the tournament. The tournament committee has made their best effort to find and hold accommodations as close to the International Skating Centre as possible while maintaining a per room rate range between $94.00 - $119.00. The organizing committee does not receive any financial benefit for providing this service. It is a free service intended to make your trip to nationals easier. Teams are not required to stay at any of the host hotels, but it is highly reccommended. In order to receive the special room rates the hotel rooms must be booked through the official Nationals Hotel Booking site and the link is included below. Also, many hotels are willing to provide transportation between their facilities and the International Skating Centre free of charge.
